GRAPHIC DESIGNER + COFFEE ENTHUSIAST

My name is Cameron Appel, and I am a graphic designer and fourth-year student at the University of Florida, currently pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with an elective concentration in Business Administration. I primarily use design as an outlet for inspiring joy and spreading positivity. Being a gay man, I am often influenced by the LGBTQ+ community and its continuously growing culture. With every new design, I aspire to create something exciting that brings a smile to everyone’s face.

I am interested in brand identity and packaging design, logo design, and merchandise design, and hope to pursue these fields as part of a community based design agency. Currently, I serve as the Digital Marketing Overall Director for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, the largest student-run philanthropic movement in the south east raising funds and awareness for pediatric illness. In addition, I have most recently designed the system for a card game called Market Mayhem, a competitive game of fruits, veggies, and sabotage, which can be seen here.

In my free time, I am most likely either hanging out with friends or binge watching a new show, multiple seasons at a time. I hope you like iced vanilla oat milk lattes as much as I do, and am excited for my design journey to continue alongside yours!
